As of 27/Jul/2021, Your Company (the Accountant) and (the Client) have engaged into an accounting contract.

WHEREFORE, the Client desires the Accountant's bookkeeping services,

AND WHEREAS, the Client agrees to hire and pay the Accountant as an independent contractor for these services, and the Accountant agrees to perform them,

THEREFORE, all parties to this contract agree to the following in consideration of the terms and conditions described in this bookkeeping contract, the receipt, understanding, and approval of which is properly acknowledged through electronic signature from both parties below:

Services Provided

The Accountant shall provide the following services to the Client:     

  • Accounts Payable     
  • Accounts Receivable     
  • General Bookkeeping     
  • Budget Preparation     
  • Financial Reporting     
  • Bank Account Reconciliation     
  • General Ledgers     
  • Payroll        
Service Rates

For services delivered, the Client agrees to compensate the Accountant at the following rates:

The Accountant pledges to uphold the highest standards of the National Association of Accountants and the National Tax Preparers' Association in all services provided.

Material & Data Access

The Client agrees to grant full access to all financial accounts and documents to the Accountant.

In addition, the Client is solely responsible for the accuracy of any existing financial records.

Contract Term

This bookkeeping contract is effective as of the date it was made and will continue on a month-to-month basis until either party cancels it.

Independent Contractor

The Accountant will be hired as an independent contractor by the Client. The Accountant is not to be considered a client's employee, broker, or agent. Any applicable taxes must be withheld by the Accountant from payments paid by the Client for services delivered under the terms of this accounting contract.


Every 30 calendar days, the Accountant will send the Client an itemised invoice for services rendered. The Client must pay each invoice in full within 30 days of receipt.

Before being charged, any fees or expenses not stated in this bookkeeping contract must be approved in writing by the Client.


All Client data and information is to be treated as proprietary, sensitive, and confidential by the Accountant. As a result, unless otherwise compelled by law, the Accountant will not disclose such information to any third person without the Client's express written agreement.

Contract Termination

Either party may cancel this accounting contract by sending the other party a 30-day written notice via certified mail. Any services delivered (but not yet invoiced) will be invoiced according to the payment conditions of this agreement if this contract is cancelled.


Except in circumstances of gross negligence or wilful misconduct on the part of the Accountant, the Client agrees to indemnify and keep the Accountant harmless against any and all claims of loss or damage.

Contract Jurisdiction

This bookkeeping agreement will be regulated by the laws of [Sender.State], [Sender.Country].
